Week 1

The first week at UNO is over. It was good that we got to stay on campus for the first week to get to know our way around. Riding the shuttle bus was a new experience, some of them were really nice and clean, but a couple were kind of gross. It was also funny trying to fit 30 people into a bus with 15 seats. In my history class on the first day of school we had a sub, who gave us a lecture that didn't have anything to do with anything. Other than school, we had a ton of activities that were really fun (but really tiring) and I just wanted to sleep once I got home on Friday night. Having a buffet of food for every meal was Awesome! The thing at Ashland climbing the rock wall and the ropes and wires was a good way to face my fears. My body hurt all week, and then we did it again on Friday. I got to know a lot of new people that I probably would have never met if i wasn't in the program. I can't wait for next week!
